The ba-sentence 2: “A 把 B + V + 在 / 到 / 给”

In Chinese, this structure is used when an action results in changing the location of an object or transferring the object to another person.

1. Change of location (在 / 到): If the action places or moves an object to a specific place, use 在 (zài) or 到 (dào) + location after the verb.

2. Transfer of ownership / recipient (给): If the action transfers the object to another person, use 给 (gěi) + recipient after the verb.

Grammar Structure

Change of location: Subject (A) + 把 + Object (B) + Verb + 在 / 到 + Location
Transfer to a person: Subject (A) + 把 + Object (B) + Verb + 给 + Recipient
The negation 没 (méi) is always placed BEFORE 把 (bǎ): A + 没 + 把 + B + ...
