Hypothetical complex sentence “……的话，就……”
In the Chinese pattern “……的话，就……” (... de huà, jiù...):
the first part states a condition or a supposed situation;
the second part states the result or conclusion that follows from it.
The pattern belongs mostly to spoken Chinese.
Basic Structure
Condition + 的话，+ 就 + result
