Comparison with 比 (2)

In a 比 comparison the adjective does not take degree adverbs like 很 or 非常. To strengthen it, 还 and 更 may be used.

The rule

❌ A + 比 + B + 很 / 非常 + adjective
✅ A + 比 + B + adjective ✅ A + 比 + B + 还 / 更 + adjective
(hái)even more
