Comparison with 比 (1)

In Chinese “比” (bǐ) compares the qualities or states of two people, things or situations.

It states how A measures up against B.

Basic structure

A + 比 + B + adjective / adjective phrase

Meaning: A is more … than B.

Examples

我(Wǒ)也(yě)觉(jué)得(de)左(zuǒ)边(bian)的(de)比(bǐ)右(yòu)边(bian)的(de)好(hǎo)看(kàn)。

I also think the one on the left looks better than the one on the right.
