1. 另外 as a pronoun
另外 (+ 的) + Number + Noun
前面车有点儿多，我们走另外一条路，不会迟到的

2. 另外 as an adverb
Often used together with 还, 再 or 又.
除了她说的，我另外又补充了几条意见
