A: 你最近怎么总自己做饭?以前不是挺喜欢点外卖的吗?Nǐ zuìjìn zěnme zǒng zìjǐ zuò fàn? Yǐqián bú shì tǐng xǐhuān diǎn wàimài de ma?
Why have you been cooking for yourself all the time lately? Didn't you used to love ordering takeout?
B: 前阵子看了一个食品安全调查报道,把我吓到了。很多外卖的卫生条件根本不达标,用的油和食材也很可疑。Qián zhènzi kàn le yí ge shípǐn ānquán diàochá bàodào, bǎ wǒ xià dào le. Hěnduō wàimài de wèishēng tiáojiàn gēnběn bù dábiāo, yòng de yóu hé shícái yě hěn kěyí.
A while ago I watched an investigative report on food safety and it scared me. Many takeout places' hygiene conditions don't meet standards at all, and the oil and ingredients they use are very suspicious.
A: 我也看到过类似的新闻,地沟油、过期肉、添加剂超标,确实让人不放心。Wǒ yě kàn dào guo lèisì de xīnwén, dìgōuyóu, guòqī ròu, tiānjiājì chāobiāo, quèshí ràng rén bú fàngxīn.
I've seen similar news too — gutter oil, expired meat, additives over the limit — it really is worrying.
